Windows Experts tired of life on the bleeding edge can now go with a more steady presence as the Dev and Beta channels briefly integrate.
Construct 22581 was discharged by Microsoft last night, bringing toys formerly restricted to the Dev Channel to the Beta Channel along with providing Insiders an opportunity to switch from Dev to Beta without requiring to nuke a PC from orbit.
Both channels generally run in parallel. Ideally the File Explorer advertisements that were accidentally activated and hurriedly turned off in current weeks won’t likewise make another surprise appearance.
Microsoft alerted the users in the Beta Channel who would choose to stick to the released version of Windows 11 that they have 10 days to roll back and change to Launch Preview.
