Data Theorem, which specializes in modern application security, has announced an AppOmni SaaS security posture management (SSPM) platform integration.

The AppOmni Advantage

The AppOmni integration provides DataTheorem customers with application security posture management (ASPM) capabilities for their first- and third-party apps and APIs, according to the companies. These customers can use the integration to build their own applications, leverage third-party SaaS applications and utilize first- and third-party APIs within their applications. They also can leverage AppOmni’s capabilities to manage data access and security controls across their SaaS environments.

Furthermore, the AppOmni integration complements Data Theorem’s “overall application security orchestration and correlation (ASOC) tooling efforts,” Data Theorem COO Doug Dooley said. The integration provides security teams with greater visibility into their organizations’ apps and APIs. It ensures these teams can utilize AppOmni’s security posture management capabilities to secure apps and APIs that their organizations need to remain operational.

AppOmni Partners with IT Services Company

The AppOmni-Data Theorem integration comes after Eden Data, an IT services company focused on supporting startups and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), joined AppOmni’s partner program. Together, Eden Data and AppOmni will help SMBs use their respective technologies to secure their SaaS environments, the companies said.

MSSPs and MSPs can join AppOmni’s partner program to incorporate the company’s SSPM capabilities into their offerings. Along with Data Theorem and Eden Data, AppOmni’s partners include Optiv, Defy Security and CyberOne.

AppOmni offers a security platform designed to help organizations protect and monitor their SaaS environments, the company indicated. It is backed by Cisco Investments, Thoma Bravo and other investors and continues to explore new partnership opportunities.
