CrowdStrike has purchased Reposify, an external attack surface management (EASM) platform provider, for an undisclosed sum. The company announced the Reposify acquisition at its Fal.Con 2022 cybersecurity conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
CrowdStrike, founded in 2011, is based in Austin, Texas. The company has 6,243 employees listed on LinkedIn. CrowdStrike’s areas of expertise include endpoint detection and response (EDR), managed threat hunting and threat intelligence.
Reposify, founded in 2017, is based in San Francisco, California. The company has 22 employees listed on LinkedIn. Reposify’s areas of expertise include EASM, exposure management and cloud security management.
CrowdStrike Adds EASM Capabilities
Reposify enables CrowdStrike to provide “a fundamentally differentiated EASM experience to customers,” the companies said.
CrowdStrike will integrate Reposify’s EASM capabilities into its Threat Intelligence product suite, the company noted. In doing so, organizations will be able to use Reposify’s internet scanning capabilities in conjunction with CrowdStrike’s Threat Intelligence products to capture insights on endpoints and IT environments and analyze risks across their internal and external attack surfaces.
In addition, CrowdStrike will leverage Reposify’s EASM capabilities to bolster its Security and IT Operations product suite, the company said. This will allow organizations to use CrowdStrike’s Security and IT Operations products to analyze risks across their internal and external attack surfaces and network devices, end-users and applications.
